Possible Futures is a public scenario site that can be read without an account. We process only limited operational data needed to run, secure, and moderate the service.

1. Information We Process

• Access logs such as IP address, browser metadata, and timestamps
• Branch submission data including author name, title, premise, and causal delta
• Client-side settings such as locale or theme stored in the browser

2. Why We Process It

• To publish scenarios and moderate user-submitted branches
• To detect abusive traffic and apply rate limiting
• To monitor reliability and improve service quality

3. Retention

Operational logs are retained as needed for security and incident response. Branch submissions may be retained to support moderation records and public branch history.

4. Third-Party Services

We may rely on Cloudflare, Google AdSense, Plausible Analytics, and similar infrastructure or monetization providers. Their own policies may also apply.
